Rollers are used in leatherworking to smooth out glued layers. This is a particularly hefty metal roller that helps to ensure there are no bubble or gaps between layers. Also, designed to evenly fold your leather without accidentally creasing the bits you didn’t want creased.

Purpose: After the completion of leather paste, use light pressure roller back and forth, so that part of the stick more closely.
