CLEAN AND PREPARE THE LEATHER BEFORE DYEING
Fiebing’s DYE-PREP has been specially formulated to clean and prepare natural vegetable tanned leather for dyeing. This product is for use on leather that has not been dyed or finished.
The use of this product is recommended when you have difficulty getting the dye to penetrate your leather as it opens the pores. The DYE-PREP makes it possible to have a more uniform dyeing by helping the dye to diffuse into the leather, thus avoiding the appearance of halos.
Manual :
-Use a small brush to apply the preparation solution to the leather and rub until absorbed.
– Wipe off excess product with a clean cloth, then immediately apply the desired stain.

It is strongly recommended to test the effect of this product on scraps of your leather in order to master its use because it will change your dyeing habits. The effect of this product is different for each dye and each leather.
This product contains ammonia and ethanol. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of accidental contact, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and call a physician. If swallowed, drink a quarter of a liter of water. Do not induce vomiting and call a doctor.
